We had these for dessert! I didn't know about this place but my mom recommended it so we came to try.

There is enough parking for people coming since some guest come and go from the stores beside this place.

The outside didn't look much but will for sure keep making you want to visit from the taste of their ice cream. The portions are huge and really worth your money. A lot of flavors to choose from, it was hard to decide but if you ask to try some flavors... they will let you. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!

They are friendly to customers too!

I love this place! It's a small lil hole in the wall that scoops up generous portions at an affordable price. There's many flavors to choose from and I've never been disappointed.

Not much to say here, other than it's good ice cream and you should check it out on a hot day or whatever excuse you have to indulge in a cold sweet treat. 8/10.

A nice family owned local ice cream place that serves good ice cream, sherbet, and sorbets. They have a lot of classic flavors, and they have seasonal and limited flavors.

The portions are very generous, and the price is super reasonable. They allow you to sample their flavors.

Tonight, we went out of our comfort zone and tried a couple of new flavors.

Chocolate Fantasy: Chocolate ice cream smiled with fudge and chocolate chunks. Very creamy and decadent. A chocolate lover's dream! Wife loved this and is now her favorite!

Maui Wowie: Passionfruit, Orange, and Guava sherbet. Bright colors, which reminded me of shaved ice. It was tart and refreshing. Beware, it does color your tongue. LOL. I enjoyed it.

We called to see what time they close and the person on the phone was super sweet, friendly, and nice. When we got there, all of them were friendly and treated all their customers respectfully and joyfully.

This spot doesn't look like much from the outside, but has SUCH good ice cream inside! I would say its easily on par, and potentially better, than my favorite ice cream spot of all time and that's saying a lot. Since it was my first time here I was only able to get two flavors, but if I lived closer to the area I would definitely be a frequent visitor.

This time I opted for the brownie a la mode and the oreo mint crunch. The oreo mint was absolutely perfect! Strong minty flavor with plenty of oreo pieces swirled in which I love. The brownie a la mode was really unique, with a few brownie chunks, chocolate ice cream, and some other flavor that I think was vanilla but tasted slightly different? Not sure, but it was really good too.

Also, the portion sizes here are MASSIVE. For a single scoop, I literally got a whole cup which is like the equivalent of a double or even triple at other spots. Prices are also super reasonable. Highly highly recommend!

Clancy's is an unassuming ice cream shop tucked behind the Floresta plaza and right next to a 7-11. It's the quintessential spot after a slice at Porky's or a bowl of pho from George at Saigon House. Definitely a San Leandro staple and my go-to whenever I have a sweet-tooth.

From first glance, it doesn't look like an ice cream shop, but you'll quickly learn that Clancy's serves up not pots, but tubs of gold. That's what their ice creams are...golden. They have an array of flavors and specials to choose from and they never skimp on the scoops -- whether you get a cup or a cone, it's loaded with a generous heaping of ice cream. My personal favorites are the banana walnut and tin roof. The banana flavor comes through nicely and is an absolute must.

Service is always top notch too. They are fast, friendly, and keep the long lines moving. Prices are pretty affordable as well.

Clancy's is the bomb diggity! Been going here for years, often after pizza at Porky's across the street. Great spot to stop off after an A's game or whenever.

Clancy's has it all! Low prices, wide variety, generous serving sizes, and excellent ice cream.

I feel like finding single scoops of ice cream for under $5 has become rare nowadays. Not only does Clancy's do it for $4.70, but they give a ton of ice cream per single scoop--basically two scoops. They also allow half scoops, so we all ordered single scoops but got two flavors each. This was awesome because they have so many good flavors and I would have felt so much more pressure to just choose one. We also tried some samples to help narrow down which flavors we wanted to commit to. Toasted almond has been and will probably always be my favorite and go-to flavor. It's the perfect sweetness and has the best almond taste, with bits of nut as well.

Service was quick and patient. Each party moved very quickly through the shop.

Haven't been here in forever and am very glad to be back. I'll definitely make an effort to return soon.
